We’re excited to announce the successful completion of the first lift modernisation in a bustling city office block duplex. This initiative represents a significant milestone in urban infrastructure development, integrating cutting-edge technology with existing systems to offer unparalleled service efficiency.
Central to this modernisation project was the integration of an upgraded controller from NewLift, complemented by a Ziehl-Abegg drive. These were skillfully installed alongside the existing gearless machines, optimising the functionality and efficiency of the elevator system in the office block.
In a first-of-its-kind initiative, we introduced remote monitoring to the lift system. This feature allows us to access real-time data, providing critical insights for detailed analysis. This paves the way for proactive maintenance and service improvements, ensuring optimal lift performance at all times.
As part of the upgrade, new landing entrances and door operators were installed, replacing the old door system. This enhancement is aimed at providing a seamless user experience for office-goers, ensuring that daily commutes are smooth and hassle-free.
Further enhancing the efficiency of the lift service, a new shaft positioning system and ancillary equipment were installed. These additions allow for direct-to-floor service with pre-opening doors, offering the smoothest and most efficient ride for passengers.
Throughout the project, we worked closely with the onsite team to ensure the highest standards of health and safety. Given the busy nature of the occupied building, this was a top priority.
With the first lift successfully modernised, we’re now set to move onto the next lift. This will facilitate the upgraded duplex system, further enhancing reliability and reducing wait times for our clients.
