Job Summary:

Liftworks is seeking another dedicated service manager to work alongside our growing
team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the service department, including planned maintenance, call-outs, and minor repairs.
  • Manage a team of service engineers – coordinating rotas, holidays, training, and performance.
  • Develop and implement service strategies that align with the company’s overall objectives. Forecast service demands and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Monitor and improve customer satisfaction. Handle complex customer complaints and issues with professionalism and empathy.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, attend meetings, handle escalations, complaints, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

  • An excellent knowledge of the lift industry, including supervisory or management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of lift maintenance, LOLER regulations, and industry best practices.
  • IT literate – comfortable using service management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent leadership, people management, and communication skills.
  • Customer-focused with a commitment to quality service delivery.
  • Technical knowledge of multiple lift types and manufacturers.
