Showroom visit and the Fallas Festival
Liftworks were invited to view the showroom of Raloe in Valencia and take in the Fallas festival.
A fantastic trip to visit a supplier we work closely with in March was a welcome break from the British weather to see the latest equipment Raloe offers while watching the unique Fallas festival.
When we arrived, we visited the showroom to see the various types of lifts that can be supplied and the different types of control panels and door configurations. The evening was a meal and meet-up with the people we communicate daily with, and it was great to meet and put faces to the names.
Day two was watching the famous Fallas.
The Fallas festival is a traditional celebration held yearly in Valencia, Spain. It takes place from March 15th to March 19th and is a lively and colourful event that attracts visitors from all over the world. The festival is known for its elaborate sculptures, called “Fallas,” made of paper-mâché and cardboard and often satirises political or social issues. The Fallas are displayed in the streets and squares of Valencia, burned on the festival’s final night, creating a spectacular and symbolic end to the event. During the festival, there are also parades, music performances, fireworks, and plenty of traditional food and drink to enjoy. The Fallas festival is a unique and exciting cultural experience that showcases the creativity, humour, and spirit of the people of Valencia.
The fireworks in the day are an experience you cannot explain without seeing. The sound and smoke were unbelievable, and the people of Valencia came out in force to watch.
Our hosts were excellent, and the food and drink were amazing.
The city of Valencia is beautiful, so thank you to Raloe for a great few days.
